Homosassa, Florida
Small-batch sourdough, hand-laminated pastries, and coffee roasted for the patient — crafted daily on Suncoast Boulevard.
Our Story
The Rolling Pin Bakery began with a simple conviction: that the best bread in Homosassa deserves nothing less than the best ingredients, the longest fermentation, and the most attentive hands.
Every loaf we bake is a slow process — wild yeast, stone-milled flour, hours of folding and waiting. We don't rush it, because rushing it would mean serving something we wouldn't serve our own table.
Our oven fires up before dawn. By mid-morning, the smell of sourdough and butter is what you'll find on Suncoast Boulevard. That's the experience we offer — honest, unhurried, and made to be savored.

What We Make
Our menu shifts with the seasons and the strength of our starter. What stays constant is the standard — every item leaves our kitchen only when it meets our own.
Our signature country loaf, 24-hour fermented with a active wild starter. Crisp, caramelized crust. Open, airy crumb. Baked every morning.
Seven layers of French butter, hand-laminated and folded overnight. Shatteringly crisp exterior, honeycomb interior. Made from scratch daily.
Tarte Tatin, pain au chocolat, fruit galettes — each shaped by what's ripe and local. Our pastry chef rotates the menu weekly.
Single-origin beans, roasted in small batches. Pour-over, espresso, or a slow-steeped cold brew — paired thoughtfully with our baked goods.
From birthday tiers to wedding celebration cakes — each designed and baked specifically for your occasion. Order a few days ahead.
Small-batch jams and preserves made from Florida citrus and stone fruit. Available by the jar or as a complement to your morning pastry.

Our Philosophy
"We don't believe in shortcuts. A loaf of bread shouldn't be rushed, and neither should the relationship you build with the people who make it."
Every ingredient in our kitchen has a story — the flour comes from regional mills, the butter is cultured and European-style, the fruit is sourced from local growers when it's in season.
Our sourdough starter has been alive for years, fed and nurtured daily. It's the heart of everything we bake, and it's something we're proud to share with our neighbors in Homosassa.
We keep the menu intentionally small. That means we can control every detail, and it means you'll find something here that was made specifically for you — not for a shelf, not for tomorrow, but for today.
